The Boom Story

Hey, I’m Georgia (aka Boom)

Firstly, thank you for being here. Whether you’ve just stumbled across Boom or you’ve been around for years, I’m so happy you’re here!

Boom has changed a LOT over the years. What started as a little creative side project has somehow turned into this colourful, slightly chaotic little world of Boom and I still can’t quite believe it.

I’ve always loved making things, customising and adding those little finishing touches that make everyday things feel a bit more fun.

Over the years I’ve painted trainers, leather jackets, handbags, denim, wallets, boxing gloves, guitars, champagne bottles… I even customised a tractor, a steering wheel, a fridge (the list goes on) 😂

Then came Covid, so I launched the website, and phone beads… and, well, the rest is history.

But the reason behind Boom has always stayed the same.

My goal is simple... to create pieces that make you smile.

So… why “Boom”?

Years ago, when I was living in France, whenever something good happened I’d just say…

“Boom!”

No idea why. 😂

It just stuck.

When it came to naming my business, nothing else felt right.

It’s fun, it’s happy, it’s a little bit random… and I think that sums me up quite well.

Every order, every design and every idea still starts with me and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

And I still do a little happy dance every time an order comes through.
